Simple and handy

This is a simple application that provide access to a wealth of profossional images designed for use in commercial settings as well as many personal settings such as scrapbooking, blogging, cards etc.

where is search?

its useless app without search.

It will be a great app….

Awesome thought with this app, it just needs a tweak here and there. It will be amazing, one day.

Suggestions..

I do enjoy this application on my computer. I love photography and the selection offered. But I do suggest that there was a search option as well. I think it would be fun to have the capability to search different photos instead of scrolling down the categories. Or have more of a selection of categories. Examples could be animals, nature, history of WWII, etc.

Thanks Getty

This app is great. Use popular media to share. Simple, fun. I don’t get all the whiners and haters who review this with distain? What a sick culture - that reviews have cultivated. Everyone’s a critic, trying to get their 15 words of fame. Too bad Warhol didn’t live to see the internet. His 15 seconds of fame is now 15 words of fame. He nailed it!

Needs multi-screen and fill whole screen walpaper support

Also automatically changing images like Kuvva does would be great. Until then pretty much unusable for me.

not even good for personal use

The watermarks are so large it’s not even good for personal use. I don’t want a huge watermark on my desktop wallpaper. The watermark isn’t even in a good looking location. It’s right in the center of the left side. It could be useful if you want to look at some cool images.

Latest Is The Greatest

I just moments ago began browsing Getty Images Stream. I went straight to “Latest.” It is great, touching on top news stories of the day with images and captions below. How cool is that? I am certain that I will come to enjoy more and more from this app. Thank you Getty Images!

Get it if you appreciate photo art

Simple app. True; it doesn’t have a search function, but that doesn’t take away from the beauty of this app. True; pictures come the the infamous water mark, but if you believe in giving credit to those who ventured to promote the art of photography (free of charge), then you have nothing to worry about. If you appreciate the art of photography, you can find an incredible number of beautiful pictures, from contemporary to antique, unique, beautiful, old-fashioned pictures, of which many come with a description, invaluable to their history and context of their time. Compensating for the lack of a search function, I truly enjoy looking through all the pictures available and, most of all, reading their brief description, which adds to the depth and history of the context shown. It is indeed a free app, so there’s absolutely nothing to worry about. If you appreciate photography and visual arts as much as I do, get it and check it out. If you don’t like it, you can always delete it. If you’re only looking for “wallpapers,” then you will most likely get rid of it. As for myself, I downloaded it, and for its shortcomings, I can’t bring myself to get rid of it as I keep coming back for more. It is not perfect, but within the context of what it is supposed to do, five stars… Absolutely.

Useless

I find no use for this bad quality sample images...

No search, weak

Great pic’s, absolutely abysmal app. I’d like to search for Womens World Cup 2015. Have you heard of meta-data? Check with the NSA.
